Fruitbedrijf van Westreenen has been cultivating apples and pears since 1921. Over three generations, the company has been handed down from father to son. Berend Jan currently leads as the third-generation owner, with his son Paul and daughter Martine actively involved in the operations. 

Fruitbedrijf van Westreenen began with just three hectares but has since expanded to encompass 75 hectares. Presently, the company cultivates three varieties of apples (Kanzi, Elstar, and Sprizzle) and four varieties of pears (Conference, Migo, Doyenné du Comice, and Gieser Wildeman).
